Psychobitch Superstar (WIP)

  • Buntport Theater (Denver) 717 Lipan Street Denver, CO, 80204 United States (map)

Lost in the desert miles away from her Burning Man camp, Psychobitch comes across relics of present, past, and future.

Part rave, part journal entry, and part bad trip, Psychobitch Superstar is a semi-psychedelic choose-your-own-adventure where the audience determines how it all ends.

A messy, funky, tender, early stages work in progress where anything can happen, and everything can go wrong.

TL;DR: It’s like…

Mind Game meets your junk drawer in a hard techno, open world adventure.

Artist: Soleil Kohl

Genre: Choose-your-own-adventure; psychedelic horror comedy

“Thank you for the poem. I teared up. ”

“Don’t fuck with Daisy. She has the power of God and anime on her side. Seriously, I saw this being workshopped at a Clown Jam and I wasn’t expecting it to go the places it did. 10/10.”

“Omg what a amazing scary psycho bitch. That was some serious workout. Gotta work out Myself just watching the show. Had to add 5000 steps to my steps app just for watching. Loved the pirate being abducted by the aliens. Solei you are amazing. You rock.”

“I liked the mouth stuff. And I liked the wailing coach.”

“This is such a fun concept, and I can’t wait to see how it develops. The club sequence is so high energy, and combined with the audience occasionally shouting at you to drink water, it makes me wonder if a bit/game you can do is literally ask the audience, “Should I drink water?” And have them pick yes or no. Especially since one of the prompts at the top of the show was to make sure Daisy drinks water.

I’m excited to see what the least bit was, with the audience cue cards “Oohhhh”, “nooooo”,“applause”, “laugh”, etc. It felt like it could be a sitcom-style world! And I apologize if I missed what that bit was about.

The ending with Daisy being a higher power/god/demon entity is brilliant! MOAR of that please, even more bigger and terrifying. It was a beautiful twist.”
